We worked with about 25% of the owner’s furniture in this 2 level, sprawling four-bedroom, four-bathroom duplex, with home office, home gym, sauna, and a kitchenette. This space was interesting and challenging due to the placement of all the beams. the curved interior architectural elements, and the closed up window bays running along the entire living area. For the long-gone window spaces, we brought in a millworker to build shelves so that they looked intentional, became useful, and made the living room more formal. We created a nursery out of one of the rooms to speak to the buyers and created an entire kid’s zone in the lower area. Multiple large-scale mirrors reflect the views of the Hudson River.
