On the cobblestones of Collister Street, we staged this 2,408-square-foot loft with historic details dating back to the building's 19th century origins as the American Express horse stables. The owner had worked with his design team to give the home a nightclub feel - there was a dark blue hallway upon entering with green neon lights and mirrors above. It was the true bachelor pad with a light up game table and moody, dark walls. Knowing that this would not appeal to most potential buyers, we overhauled the home with a new paint palette, installed new lighting and window treatments, and worked with some of the owner’s existing, colorful furniture to create a welcoming, more serene space.
